Congratulations and best of luck to all of them in the upcoming school year! Projects AND LAB UPDATES
MICRO-GA shoutout to Micro-G with some word from our current lead Ethan Shoulson:
Micro-G designed a fiberglass boat with autonomous controls to deliver emergency supplies to a stranded astronaut following an emergency launch abortion over water. They submitted a proposal detailing this design to NASA and were selected as one of four teams to compete in that challenge and one of 28 teams overall. They were unfortunately unable to complete the construction of the vessel but they did complete the initial mold used to shape the fiberglass into the proper shape. We hope that they will be able to submit the proposal again for the 2021 challenge season and will again be selected!
